Effectiveness of planned instructional module regarding knowledge about health hazards of junk food among high school children

The children of today and will be the adult tomorrow, central to this vision future, focusing on today’s educating them change their behaviour towards wealthy eating pattern is necessary. Nutritional problem one major health faced by billions all age groups. Preventive approach maintain good with specific education can greater benefit for prevent mental physical ailments. present study aim create awareness among school regarding hazards junk foods. Objectives assess level knowledge food before planned instructional module (pre-test), after (post-test), determine effectiveness children, find association between selected demographic variables children. was conducted in government high at Erayamangalam village thiruvallur district. About 30 students were randomized method. instruments used data collection are variable structured questionnaire method pre-test mean score 3.50 standard deviation 2.36 post-test 21.77 2.01. calculated paired ‘t’ test value t = 29.487 found statistically highly significant P
